Top Tip:
Smother your cropped rhubarb plants with compost and cover with a bottomless box or something large enough to allow the first pink shoots to grow with some protection.

Advice:
Clear out the shed and greenhouse, maintain tools, pots and have a general sort out.

Do a bit of forward planning for 12 and 24 months ahead. Don't be put off if you haven't done this already, gardening is a continuous cycle, you have to get on the ride at some stage. Think about what you want to grow and achieve in your garden.

If you have planned ahead Christmas can be a great time to share the fruits of your garden in the form of Christmas presents. Here are some ideas for next year of things that I have given as Christmas presents in the past:
